Who should attend?

Institutions, non-governmental organizations and especially organizations operating in the sectors of energy, agriculture, industry, chemistry, construction and food aiming to take an action within the scope of the Green Transition, which has been globally brought to the agenda with the European Green Deal

Why should attend?

The European Green Deal (EGD), put into effect by the European Commission in December 2019, is launched as Europe’s new growth strategy. The European Union aims to guide the transition to a more competitive economy that uses resources efficiently with the EGD.

EGD, whose ultimate goal is to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, stipulates global decarbonisation efforts in order to slow global warming and keep the global temperature increase close to 1.5 degrees.

In order to adapt the Green Transition process, maintain competitiveness and reduce possible losses, Turkey should address the policies of industrial, energy, agricultural and trade with a perspective of green transition since the ‘Green Transition’ standing out with EGD will not be limited to the European Union and Turkey is the most important export partner of EU.
